In October, Antoine Kirby got probation after being found guilty of violence against another woman.
According to Kirby’s arrest record, he’s been charged with 30 crimes in the last 15 years, many of them violent in nature.
While on probation he put a gun to a woman’s head and raped her.
He was also wanted for other criminal offenses and his probation officer didn’t know?
Fox 17 asked the Department of Corrections. It’s response: the probation office doesn’t have a “warrant repository”, meaning probation officers don’t have access to arrest warrants; They don’t know if the criminal they’re supposed to be watching is wanted by police.
But the judge could have known his rap sheet. He gave Kirby probation, then blamed prosecutors for agreeing to a plea bargain.
